Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per year (DOE) + overtime
Hours: 40–50 per week with paid OT
Location: Glastonbury and surrounding areas

The Role
We’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join the team in Glastonbury. You’ll be carrying out trunking and/or multidrop work (day or night shifts depending on business needs), ensuring on-time deliveries and excellent customer service.
Key Duties
Safe operation of Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for collections and deliveries
Accurate completion of paperwork and use of digital tachograph
Vehicle checks (pre/post-trip) and defect reporting
Adherence to WTD, drivers’ hours and all site safety rules
Professional customer interactions on sites and at RDCs
What We’re Looking For
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
Minimum 1–2 years’ Class 1 driving experience (insurance requirement)
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Good knowledge of UK road network, WTD and tacho rules
No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN)
A strong safety record, good communication and a can-do attitude
