Customer Service Operative
Location: Norwich, Norfolk.
Job Title: Customer Service Operative.
DAYS– Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 16:30
Driver Hire is one of the UK’s leading providers of logistics and transport staff, known for delivering high-quality service to clients across various sectors. We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Customer Service Operative to join a new customer of ours on a full time permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities

Support site management with compliance across inventory, finance, health & safety, and transport.

Promote a safety-first culture and contribute to achieving an incident-free workplace.

Manage customer orders in SAP, including deliveries, collections, credits/refunds, and cylinder refill agreements.

Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing updates, resolving queries, and sharing information.

Process stock movements in/out, maintain inventory accuracy, and carry out physical stock counts with system entry.

Raise and receipt purchase orders, ensuring stock levels are maintained effectively.

Monitor and process daily aborts, cancellations, and fill returns.

Assist drivers by preparing loading sheets and manifests, reviewing daily runs, and tracking routes via Telematics.

Manage agency timesheets and contribute to general office and site housekeeping.
