We are looking for class 2 winter Frontline drivers for work throughout the winter in Ardelve, a picturesque village in the Scottish Highlands nestled on the shores of lochalsh making it a scenic and peaceful location. This will be a seasonal contract starting mid October until approx. April.
🚨 This role requires a commitment for the full season (October–April) and flexibility to respond to changing weather conditions – essential for keeping Highland roads safe.
🚛 Frontline Work Pattern:
🔹 Mix of days and nights on a rota
🔹 Includes paid standby shifts
🔹 Flexibility required for weather changes
💰 Rates: range from: £14.25 -£25.65 (rate dictated by your shift / overtime)
🕒 Standby Payments (Frontline Only): can be up to £137.50 per week dependent on your stand by rota
🧊 Duties Include:
- Gritting & ploughing roads
- Vehicle checks & defect reporting
- Yard duties during good weather
- Highway maintenance & labouring
📋 Requirements:
✅ Cat C HGV Licence (Class 2)
✅ Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card
✅ Under 6 penalty points
