Driver Hire Milton Keynes are looking for an experienced Category B/ 3.5T van delivery driver to work as a brand ambassador for one of our well established clients based in Milton Keynes starting immediately.
This exciting position would be suitable for any Category B driver based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Aylesbury, or the surrounding areas!!
Job Description:
You will be expected to carry out and install customer deliveries of expensive furniture, bedding and seating to show rooms and customers houses working as a crew of two whilst maintaining an excellent level of customer service. Delivery drops vary depending on consumer demand and route distance.
Start times vary between 03:00am – 08:00am and the average working week usually consists of 45 hours but any additional hours completed will be paid.
Working days required are Monday to Friday. Saturday’s are required through peak periods but not frequent.
Overnight stays in hotels may be required depending on delivery destinations as our clients distribution centre covers the whole of the United Kingdom.
We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:
- Physically fit as heavy lifting will be involved in this job role.
- Exceptional customer service skills are required.
- Reliability is also a MUST.
- Pride in your personal appearance and image as you’re the face of the company. Full uniform will be provided.
- Good timekeeping and punctuality skills are considered vital.
- Must have good communication skills to liaise with customers and fellow employees.
- Must have your own personal travel to get to work every day. Due to early start times, this role WILL NOT be suitable for someone that relies on public transport.
- Must have held their Category B For longer than 2 year and have less than 6 points on their licenses.
- Candidates must be hardworking.
Salary ranges between £29,250 to £31,500 a year. Full time positions will be available to candidates who fit the requirements and meet the required criteria.
