HGV Class 1 Drivers Needed – Flexible Ad Hoc Shifts Across London & Essex

We’re recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ad hoc shifts with a wide range of respected clients across the CM postcode area.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering a variety of goods across Essex & London and surrounding areas
- Driving well-maintained HGV Class 1 vehicles
- Handling manual tasks including loading and unloading
- Ensuring safe, timely, and accurate deliveries
- Navigating London’s roads with confidence—London driving experience is a bonus
- Representing Driver Hire with professionalism and a positive attitude
What We’re Looking For
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in multi-drop or commercial deliveries
- Maximum 6 points on your licence
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Strong communication, punctuality, and reliability
- Familiarity with London’s road network is advantageous
- A flexible, customer-focused mindset
Pay & Perks
- £18.49 per hour (This includes 12.07% Holiday pay )
- Majority of shifts are guaranteed 10 hours
