HGV 7.5T Drivers required for Flexible Work Across Essex & London
Are you a skilled and dependable 7.5T (Category C1) Driver looking for rewarding work with great pay and flexibility?
Driver Hire Chelmsford & Harlow is recruiting experienced drivers to support a range of respected clients across Essex and surrounding areas—with some deliveries into London, so confidence driving in the capital is a real advantage.
Whether you’re seeking full-time hours or prefer a more adaptable schedule, we offer consistent work, immediate starts, and a supportive team that values your contribution.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering goods safely and efficiently to various locations
- Handling and securing loads (some manual handling may be required)
- Completing paperwork and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
- Maintaining your vehicle and reporting any issues promptly
- Providing excellent customer service and representing Driver Hire professionally
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid UK Category C1 licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in a similar driving role
- Confidence driving in London is advantageous
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Pay & Perks:
- £15.40 per hour (This includes 12.07% Holiday pay)
- Minimum 10 hours per shift for most clients
