Driver Hire Colchester are recruiting for a Permanent, Full time Operator, for an immediate start.
Our client specialising in Waste and environmental services are looking for a Gully Operator to work alongside a tanker driver.
Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities and daily duties:
- Operator duties include maintenance and clearing of drainage systems.
- Using suction equipment and high-pressure jetting.
- Temporary to permanent job role, Full time hours.
- Start time 05:00am, minimum 10hrs a day.
- Shift pattern may include weekends.
- Working as part of a team; You will work alongside a HGV driver.
- Day to Day tasks involve high-pressure water jetting and gully cleaning to clear in drainage systems, maintenance of highways and drainage infrastructure.
- Physically demanding role
What You’ll Need
- Must have good communication skills
- Willing and able to be trained on the computer systems, aswell as the tanker.
- Must have own transport due to start location
What You’ll Receive:

Monday to Friday hourly pay is £13.50 per hour PAYE, (holiday will be accrued)

10hrs pay a day, Over time after 10hrs is £20.25 per hour
- Weekend pay at a higher rate.
