Tramper Driver (HGV Class 1)
Location: Doncaster
Job Type: Full-time, ongoing
Salary: £15.50 – £17:37ph + (£25 evening expense)
About the role:
We are looking for a Tramper Driver in Doncaster for an ongoing role. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys life on the road and wants to work with a supportive company.
Key responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles for nationwide deliveries
- Complete daily vehicle checks and ensures compliance with road transport regulations
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and digital records
- Overnight stays in the cab (tramping) throughout the working week
- Ensure high standards of customer service at all delivery points
What we are looking for:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Driver CPC and Digi Tachograph card
- Previous tramping experience is essential
- Strong understanding of driver hours, WTD, and road safety
- Ability to work independently with good time management skills
- Professional, reliable, and flexible attitude
