Job Title: Van Driver – Fresh Food & Produce Delivery
Location: CV34 (Warwick area)
Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour
Start Time: 4:00 AM
Job Type: Full-time | Temp to Perm
I’m currently recruiting on behalf of my client, a well-established fresh food supplier, who is looking for an experienced and reliable Van Driver to join their delivery team based in the CV34 (Warwick) area. You’ll be delivering fresh produce and ingredients including fruit, vegetables, meat, and dairy to a mix of residential and commercial customers, ensuring products are delivered safely, on time, and in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Operation: Drive 3.5-tonne vans and other delivery vehicles responsibly and safely.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
- Use in-vehicle technology and apps to assist with navigation and route optimisation.
- Delivery Management: Follow pre-planned delivery routes efficiently. Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring all produce remains in top condition.
- Complete delivery documentation using handheld devices and apps.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service at the point of delivery. Communicate clearly with customers, confirm delivery details, and handle queries professionally.
- Represent the brand positively with every customer interaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- A full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
- Experience in van driving and/or multi-drop delivery preferred
- Comfortable with early starts – shift begins at 4:00 AM
- Reliable, punctual, and physically fit (some lifting required)
- Confident using mobile apps and basic technology
