Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are now offering an exciting and flexible opportunity for a delivery Van Driver in Salisbury. The typical amount of drops per day is between 8 and 15.
Position: Van Driver (Category B)
Days: Monday – Friday
Start date: ASAP
Location: Salisbury
Pay Rate: £13.68 (daytime) – £15.69 (weekends). Holiday Pay Advanced.
The successful Van Driver will have:
- a valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
- experience in delivering using 3.5t vehicles
- physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
- own reliable transport to travel to work
Responsibilities:
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
- safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
- adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- load and unload goods from the van, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
