New Job for the New Year: C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity

Looking for a fresh start in the New Year? We have an exciting Temp to Perm opportunity for a C1 (7.5-tonne) driver with a reputable furniture company based in Barking!

Role Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday with early starts
• Location: Deliveries outside of London, occasional overnight stays required
• Requirements:
  • A reliable driver with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to use initiative and represent the company professionally
  • CPC card – driver qualification card
  • Tacho card – driving card
  • Valid UK Driving licence

Temp Period (8 weeks):

• Work with Driver Hire East London
• Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour (plus holiday pay, totalling £14.39 PAYE)
• Paid weekly

Permanent Position (After 8 weeks):

• Transition to permanent employment with the company
• Salary: £30,000 – £32,000 per year (depending on experience)
• Includes cash in hand for overnight stays
• Overnight accommodation provided at hotels such as Premier Inn or Travelodge
