Warehouse Operative / Van Driver required in Gloucester
Driver Hire Gloucester is currently recruiting for a well-established company in Gloucester. This role has amazing progression into management level for the right person.
Hours & Pay:
Working Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00. (no weekends)
Pay rate will be £19,000 – £21,000 per year depending on experience
Duties Will Include;
- Checking in & signing off/unloading of deliveries (some heavy lifting will be required)
- Driving vans/cars around the yard and doing local deliveries
- Checking deliveries for damaged or missing items
- Identifying and reporting discrepancies
- Storing received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
- Physical stock checking
- Ensure warehouse is kept clean and tidy
- Carrying out additional tasks to support the business as required
You Must Have:
- Attention to detail
- Basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach to working
- Computer literacy
- Manual handling awareness
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable
- Fork lift licence an advantage or willingness to undertake training
- A full UK driving licence
