VAN DRIVERS WANTED! Driver Hire Edinburgh City have opportunities for Van Drivers to work with us on various contracts based in and around the Edinburgh area.
We work with a variety of clients; including electrical wholesalers, plumbing distributers, timber merchants, pharmaceutical companies, and more.
Rate of pay is £10.00, with opportunity for overtime paid at £13.33 p/h. We can offer up to 40 hours per week, dependant on the client’s requirements and number of hours that you are available for.
These roles involve completing deliveries and/or collections, which can include multidrop, site-to-site, or long distance. Manual handling of items at delivery points can be involved, so you must be comfortable with some lifting.
We ask that applicants have no more than 6 points on your licence (DD, DR, or IN endorsements are not accepted due to insurance stipulations), and safety boots. Previous commercial driving experience would be advantageous.
