We are urgently looking to recruit a Van Driver with an ADR licence for our well-respected client specialising in healthcare waste management. If you enjoy driving, being out and about on the road, meeting new people and delivering excellent customer service, then this could be the role for you!
Using small transit-style vehicles for regular planned services, our customer provides many products for the segregation, safe storage, and transportation of all healthcare and infectious/offensive waste such as bags; sharps units; dental amalgam pots; rigid containers and wheelie bins. This would include, for example, the collection of waste produced from care homes and nurseries etc.
Waste is collected and returned daily to our client’s waste transfer station depots prior to its final disposal or recovery.
Key Requirements
- A full UK driving license with two years’ experience and a maximum of six points.
- Great customer service skills
- Flexibility with working hours
- An ability to use your initiative and have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Good geographical driving knowledge
- Good level of physical fitness
- An ADR certificate.
Working pattern – Monday to Friday 08.30 – 16.30
PPE requirements – High Viz, Long pants (ideally needle stick), safety shoes – You will be issued with gloves, a hard hat, goggles, and hand sanitiser.
