Driver Hire Reading are currently recruiting a Van Driver for our customer based in Reading. Our customer is the UK’s premier manufacturer, supplier and installer of temporary fencing.
General duties in this role include:
• Loading (using ratchet straps) and unloading delivery vehicles
• Making deliveries and collection from customer sites
Working hours for this role are 6am – 4pm Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday shift which is optional.
The pay rates on the Advanced PAYE model (holiday pay paid upfront) for this role will be as follows:
- £12.00 Basic rate
- £13.00 Overtime rate (after 8 hours)
Suitable candidates for this role will:
• A full UK licence
• Have previous experience in a similar role
• Have all PPE equipment
• Have great customer service skills
• Be fluent in English (written/verbal).
• Be physically fit
