Van Driver – Darlington

Pay Rate: £9.51 (PAYE) – £10.65 (PAYE ADV) 

Job Type : Temp 

Shift Patterns:
  • Working Monday to Friday on a rotating 2 week shift pattern
  • The hours of work will be Week 1-2: 4.00am start
  • Week 3-4: 6.00am start Week 5-6: 12.30 start

 

About the Job

Due to an increase in workloads and holiday cover we are looking to recruit van drivers for immediate starts.
This role is working for a leading manufacturer and distributor of flooring , carpets and astro-turf . You will cover 10-12 drops per day on average and all routes are planned. Routes cover Darlington , the north east and the east coast.
The loads are usually fork lifted on to the vehicle although hand ball is involved so you will need to be physically fit – excellent customer service skills are also required .

Qualifications:

  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Valid UK Licence
