Van Driver
Salary: £9.50 per hour
Monday to Friday
Location: St Albans
Driver Hire Stevenage are recruiting a van driver for their family run Ironmonger & Hire Shop.
It is important for you to have a strong appreciation for customer service, as you will meet customers on a daily basis and will be representing the company. You will also be working with our friendly warehouse team.
You will be responsible for vehicle checks and to ensure that all faults and concerns are immediately reported to the Office Manager.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver to a wide variety of goods
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules
- Lift heavy goods in a safe manner according to health and safety policy
- Load van ensuring it is safe for travel with the support from warehouse team
- Unload van on return ensuring van is empty overnight
- Report any issues with the van immediately to the Office Manager
- Obtain signatures on paperwork for all deliveries. indx1
