Transport Planner with Class 1 or 2 HGV Licence based in Bamber Bridge Preston
Driver Hire Preston are currently recruiting for one of our well known clients in the Bamber Bridge area for an Office Based Transport Planner that will be required to hold their Class 2 or Class 1 HGV licence to cover for emergencies.
The client in question is a manufacturer that deliver across the UK and you’ll be based in the office planning drivers routes, answering calls an dealing with any other admin duties.
Your working week would be Monday-Friday 08:30am – 17:00pm, no weekend work.
This is a Temp-Perm Position through Driver Hire Preston over a 12 week period which will allow you time to get used to the role and make sure it’s the right position for you. Once permanent your salary will be £26,000 a year.

- Occasional Class 2 Driving when emergencies arise.
- Experience working in an Transport Office Environment
- Full Clean Driving Licence – Class 2 HGV (Category C) with experience
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digi Card (Driver Card)
- Ready to work attitude
