Driver Hire Inverness has an exciting new opportunity on behalf of their client.

TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATOR is required for our client based in Inverness to work within their busy local branch on a temporary basis, possibly will lead to permanent role for the right person.

The ideal person will be an enthusiastic, proactive and friendly individual with a great phone manner.  You will ideally have a passion for delivering excellent customer services.


Job details (Jobs may vary) – 

  • All General Administrative duties
  • Providing quotes to customers
  • Booking of freight into network
  • An element of route planning
  • Processing of all orders and enquiries, accurately and in a timely fashion from time of booking, through to delivery.

Role Requirements:-

  • Great customer service
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Computer literate
  • Able to work well under pressure and use own initiative to get the job done
  • Previous experience in the freight or haulage sector desired.


    • Competitive salary
    • Monday – Friday
    • 0800 – 1700
    • Full system training provided

Driver Hire is an agency that provides staff cover to a range of companies within the local area.  For this position, it will become a permanent role with the employer after the probationary period of 12 weeks is complete.
