Are you happy to work away from home? Do you have experience driving extra-long wheelbase vans? Would you like to learn how to manufacture and install solar-powered awnings and blinds?
Then we have an opportunity for you!
Our client, based in the Sudbury area, is looking for a new member to join their installation team.
Our client is a family-run company, established for over 30 years ago, which specialises in the manufacturing and construction of outdoor blinds, living pods, and sun-shielding products. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, enjoys work outside, and enjoys solving problems.
Covering primarily the South East of England, staying away regularly, you will work as part of a 2/3 person team, installing their external shading systems in both residential and commercial environments to specific details (position/height) asset on the client order/survey sheet.
You will have a technical mindset and eye for detail along with tools training and ideally come from a construction/carpentry or similar background, however, if you have outstanding diy-ability this would also be fine. Ideally, you will have a driving license (although not required but does limit progression) and be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved.
This position is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, working on an annualised hours contract, to cope with seasonal demand.
You will be trained in the full manufacturing and assembly process from start to finish giving you the chance to learn the business from the ground up in an environment that encourages personal development.
If you have the relevant skills we would love to hear from you.
