We are advertising for a friendly family run business located in Colchester who are seeking a full time experienced skip driver for an immediate start. The successful candidate will have experience previously working for a skip company, be reliable, professional and have great customer service skills.
*Must be over 25 and have good knowledge of the areas in and around Colchester.
Benefits
- £12.50 per hour advanced pay, holiday pay already included
- Full-time, Permanent
- Guaranteed 10 hours pay per day
- 45min lunch and tea break (unpaid)
Job Role
- Driving HGV Class 2 vehicle,
- Delivering/Collecting skips in Colchester and surrounding area
- Ensuring correct use of netting, sheeting
- Daily vehicle checks ensuring continued roadworthiness
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness
- Completion of relevant paperwork
- Organise workload
- Weekend availability
- Overtime
Licence/Certification:
- Driver CPC up to date
- Digital Tachograph required
- HGV Class C
