Job details
We require personnel to assist the Local Authority deliver the annual allocation of recycling sacks across the Borough to all households. You will be working to set routes which require completion on a daily basis.
Reliability and attendance is essential during the completion of this task.
We are also recruiting for refuse and recycling operatives to cover annual leave and sickness. You will be working for the local council on various collection vehicles across the Borough ensuring work is completed in a timely manner and adhering to instructions given by the Team Leader.
This is a physically demanding role where you will be expected to walk up to 25 miles on a daily basis carrying out manual handling of loading Waste and Recycling into collection vehicles.
This is a customer focused role where you will be expected to have good communication skills as you will have contact with members of public as well as other crew members.
Benefits
- £10.65 per hour, advanced pay, holiday pay already included
- £9.50 per hour, PAYE
