We are looking for a full time admin assistant based in Nelson for immediate start.
This position would suit a candidate with previous admin / customer service experience in an office environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is important and some knowledge of sage or a similar system would be advantageous however training will be given so not essential. Excellent telephone skills and the ability to work accurately and efficiently are equally important.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls and emails
- Provide quotations for customers and follow these through to conversion
- Process customers orders using sage accounts software
- Process purchase orders with suppliers and follow the progress
- Some picking and packing of parts and warehousing duties
- Working as part of a team closely with the spares department
- Build strong relationships with existing and new customers
- Work closely with other departments
- Provide a high level customer experience
