Diver Hire Taunton & Bridgwater are seeking to recruit a temporary van driver to assist our client to cover for holiday and sickness cover along with busy periods based from Castle Cary, Somerset.
Our client is a leading supplier of animal / pet medical supplies delivering to vets practices throughout the South West & South Wales. You will have training on several routes.
Key duties:
- Accurate supply of medical products to vets premises
- Completion of all delivery schedules / paperwork
- Daily vehicle checks
- To drive the vehicle in a safe manor in line with the highway code and other road users
You must have:
- A valid UK Cat B driving licence
- No more than 6 points for minor offences such as speeding
- Ideally some multi drop experience up to 20 drops per day
- Able to start work from 04.00 hrs
Wages, Hours of work & other benefits:
- Hourly pay rates from £9.75 per hour, plus supplements paid for nights & overtime
- Wages paid weekly
- On line payslips
- Holiday pay accrued from the first shift
- Start times are from 04.00 hrs & 05.30 hrs
- Pension contributions after qualifying period
