Do you prefer to be kept active whilst out on the road and able to use a manual palette truck? Do you enjoy meeting new people and can provide a great face-to-face customer service? If you are able to work weekdays including some weekends and like the sound of the above – We have exactly what you are looking for.
Our well known client based in Cumbernauld are currently looking for Class 1 drivers to join their team on an ongoing basis with duties including;
– Morning vehicle checks
– Multidrop deliveries to stores
– Collecting waste from stores to return to depot
– Various routes covering Scotland and Northern England
– Unloading palletised goods with the use of a manual palette truck
Hours and shift times
– Between 0430 to 0600 start
– Monday to Friday
– Weekends included
This role involves regular interaction with their retail team and customers therefore you must have a high standard of customer service skills and a friendly personality. Communication with their transport team is also essential.
To apply, you must have
– Experience driving class 1
– Previous experience working in a busy depot and capable of reversing into bays
– A flexible approach to routes given
– C+E Entitlement on your licence *
– CPC & Digi card
– Previous experience within a similar role (Preferred)

Pay and Benefits
– £15.00 per hour (Mon to Fri)
– £18.75 per hour (Saturdays)
– Paid weekly via PAYE
– Additional holidays accrued
– Pension contributions after qualifying period
Option to include holiday accrual for an enhanced pay rate (PAYE)
