Driver Hire is recruiting for a Cat C Driver for a builders merchant in Farnborough. The work can be physically demanding, but is quite straightforward. Most deliveries are also done with a driver’s mate. You will be delivering to small construction sites, businesses and private houses.
HIAB (lorry mounted crane) training will be given to the right candidate after a qualifying period.
This is an ongoing job, possibly maturing in to a permanent position in the future as a relief HIAB driver.
Newly qualified HGV Cat C and C1 drivers are also invited to apply.

HOURS AND PAY
- £11.77 (including holiday pay) per hour, plus overtime
- Monday to Friday. Alternate Saturdays

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CAT C DRIVER
- Perform daily vehicle inspection
- Interact with the staff and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Deliver goods by hand or using a hand cart
- Operate the Tail lift
- Some hand balling will also be necessary

REQUIREMENTS OF THE CAT C DRIVER
- Cat C licence
- CPC card
- Digi tacho card
- Verifiable references
