Driver Hire are helping a valued customer to find an ideal driver to join their team. You will be working at various locations and different sites within the south east, including schools, construction sites, private estates, car parks, amenity grounds, sports surfaces etc. Flexibility around the normal working times of 7.00am-17.30pm may be required to suit customer needs. Opportunities for overtime available. Occasional weekend work but not essential.
Work will include:
daily vehicle checks,
driving and operating the specialist machines,
ensuring sites are cleaned to customer satisfaction which may involve some handwork
maintaining appropriate records
A cheerful, approachable attitude and good communication skills are required as the individual will have regular contact with site managers and premises owners.
You will require:
A driving licence with Category C licence entitlement
Completed CPC
Right to work in the UK
Good vocabulary and conversational skills
Positive attitude and team spirit
Flexibility
Eye for detail
Full training to operate and maintain sweepers is provided to successful applicant.
This is a permanent, full time position of 50 hours per week.
20 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays.
