A long established and universally well-respected access hire business based in Leeds 12, are looking to recruit a ‘Hire/Sales Controller & I.T. Supervisor’, to assist its’ small Hire/Sales Team. Day-to-day duties will include P.C. and telephone work, as well as general office administration work. The role is unique, enabling the right person to showcase both their excellent customer service and organisation skills alongside their ability to develop the IT and Database capabilities of the company. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity meaning that you would work for Driver Hire for 13 weeks and then transfer to the company as a permanent employee if both parties are happy.
The business has a professionally managed and up-to-date website and marketing strategy but is looking to develop further its’ I.T. capabilities.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious, enthusiastic, reliable, and keen to learn from the company’s very experienced staff.
- 40 Hours per week – Monday to Friday
- 4 Weeks Holiday Plus Bank Holidays
- Whilst working for Driver Hire, £12.38 to £13.00 per hour (Based on PAYE Advanced – Holiday Pay Included)
- When appointed Permanent – Salary up to 27k rising to 30k once fully trained.
- Good communication skills and high standard of spoken/written English.
- To have good initiative qualities.
- Be confident to make the right decisions.
- To be able to work as a team and independently.
- Hard working and good time keeping essential.
- C. Literate and to be able to further develop I.T. skills.
- Educated to A-Level Standard, preferably with an I.T. qualification.
- Clean Driving License and own transport.
Full training will be provided.
