Driver Hire Newcastle & Sunderland are currently recruiting a part time class 2 (LGV2) driver for a nationally recognised food distribution company in Gateshead on a temp to perm.
The vacancy is for an immediate start, working 3 days a week starting at midnight. You can expect your typical working week to consist of the same shift pattern, working Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings.
The successful candidate can expect around four drops per shift, but due to the nature of the role, you can expect a high degree of manual handling. For additional support, you will have the assistance of a drivers mate to help with the deliveries.
You can expect a competitive hourly rate of £16.00 per hour.
Driver Requirements
- Category C entitlement on your driving licence.
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph.
- Must meet insurance stipulations.
- Free from any major endorsements on their licence.
- A good understanding in EU driving hours and RT(WT)R
