Driverhire Cardiff currently has vacancies for two (2) ongoing Cat CE (LGV1) bulk drivers to join our client’s team at their Aberthaw site delivering concrete products around South Wales and the South West on the day shift.
All applicants must have a full CPC and Digital tacho card. All applicants must be professional, flexible and willing to complete all the duties of the job along with at least one years’ experience of driving LGV’s.
Duties:
- As a CE (HGV1) driver trapper you will be carrying out deliveries of bulk concrete, there would be multiple starts and finishing times, normally starting between 04:00 to 06:00hrs and shifts are between 10/12hrs long.
Due to the nature of the goods, a two-week training program will be in place for all applicants, please note that this could take place anywhere in the UK, transport and accommodation will be provided and a review of the candidate’s progress will be made at the end of the first week.
Requirements:
Valid Cat CE (Class 1) license
Valid CPC card
Valid Digital tachograph
Right to work in the UK
Pay: Minimum 45 hour week.
