Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are excited to now be offering a temp to perm opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with our client in Bournemouth. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the JetVac vehicle, you must have previous JetVac experience or hold the relevant experience to be considered for this role. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved with this role, so you must be able and willing to carry this out!!
Position: HGV Class 2 Driver (Temp to Perm)
Days: Monday-Friday
Start time: 04:00 am onwards
Start date: ASAP
Location: Bournemouth
Pay Rate: £41,522 per annum for 1st 13 weeks. £44,200 per annum once permanent, with opportunities to earn overtime. Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay.
As a HGV Driver you MUST have:
- a valid UK HGV driving licence for a minimum 2 years
- a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- no more than 6 penalty points (SP & TS offences only)
- your own transport to get to and from work
As a HGV Driver you will be responsible for:
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
