We are currently recruiting for a Forklift Counterbalance Driver to work day shifts for our client based in the Maldon area.

On a 12 week temporary to permanent basis, this role will involve duties such as moving objects around the yard/loading and unloading vehicles with the Forklift Counterbalance Truck, checking over products prior to delivery, turning wood, measuring timbers, movement of products in yard and checking spec against customer requirements.

As well as being physically fit to complete the manual handling duties in the role, the ideal candidate will need to hold a current Counterbalance or Reach Forklift licence.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 07:00am – 15:30pm for the first 3 months, then 09:30am – 18:00pm thereafter. There will also be overtime and occasional weekend work available.

Pay rates for the first 12 weeks on the assignment:

£10.92 per hour (INC holiday pay *) OR £9.75 per hour (EXC holiday pay).
