Job title: FLT Counterbalance Driver
Shift Pattern: There are 2 shift patterns available:
- Monday to Friday – 10AM – 7PM – 45 hours paid per week
- Monday to Friday – 7AM -5PM – 50 hours paid per week
Type of work: Temp to perm, meaning once you have completed 13 weeks working with Driver hire you will then transfer to the direct employment of our client
Location: Leeds
Pay: We offer 2 types of pay model PAYE standard – holidays paid when you take holiday or PAYE advanced – holidays paid weekly on top of hourly rate
Hourly rate: PAYE standard @ £10.00 per hour, PAYE advanced @ £11.21 per hour
Overtime Pay: Paid after 8 hours, weekends and bank holidays @ 1.25 x your hourly rate.
Start date: 1st August 2022
The Client:
Our client is a well known national business who have 3 depots in Leeds alone. Each depot specialises in a specific building sector. The LS10 depot handles all insulation products, these can be any thing from building materials such as plasterboard, sand and other insulation products.
Job Description:
This a duel role within a busy Goods out team. As a member of the team you will be required to pick and pack orders for customers.
Once successfully picked and packed you will be required to Load the clients vehicles with the completed order. This will require you to operate a Fork lift truck, so you must have a Counterbalance licence to operate the vehicle.
Goods which you will be picking can be off various shapes and sizes and on busy days can be physically demanding.
Requirements:
- You must hold an in date FLT Counterbalance cert (RTTIB, ITTSAR or similar)
- You must have at least 6 months experience working in a warehouse
- Must be able to commute to LS10 for as early at 7AM
