Driver Hire are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Day Driver to work as part of a two-person team, supporting survey works and minor works across a variety of sites.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a reliable and experienced Class 2 driver looking for a varied role where no two days are the same.
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be driving the support vehicle, which carries equipment to various sites to assist with survey works and minor works.
You will work closely with an engineer as part of a two-person team, supporting their day-to-day requirements and ensuring equipment is transported safely and efficiently between sites.
Duties will include:
Driving a Class 2 support vehicle safely and professionally
Transporting equipment to various sites
Working as part of a two-person team
Supporting an engineer with survey works and minor works
Assisting with site-based tasks where required
Ensuring the vehicle and equipment are handled safely
Representing Driver Hire and the client in a professional manner

Requirements
Valid Class 2 HGV licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Minimum age of 25
Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience
Reliable, professional and flexible approach
Happy to work as part of a two-person team
Willingness to support with varied survey and activities
