Class 2 Waste Collection driver

We have a great opportunity at Driver Hire Southampton for an HGV 2 driver that also enjoys being on their feet, this role is very practical and hands on. Our client is situated in Southampton and are a waste collection service. For this position you will be required to drive a dustcart vehicle and run alongside collecting waste bags, alternating with other team members. The client is willing to take on newly qualified Class 2 drivers and will provide Full training and induction.

Job description:

  • Monday – Friday
  • Start time between 5:00am and 7:00am
  • 8 hour shifts per day
  • Collecting waste bags and disposing them into Dustcart vehicle
  • Class 2 vehicle
  • Follow a specific route

Requirements:

  • Must hold full valid UK Driving licence
  • Must hold Valid Class 2 licence (CAT C)
  • Must have valid CPC and Digi Tacho Card
  • Physically fit and happy to do heavy lifting
