Driver Hire Bristol are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading fuel distribution company for a Class 2 driver to join their team. They are a good company that value their drivers and reward hard work.
The Role
- You will be delivering wood pellets throughout the southwest via 8,6 or 4 wheeled tankers
- This delivery and product does not require the driver to be ADR trained.
- Tankers are manual gearbox DAFs and 65 plate registrations.
- There is some manual work involved when delivering.
- Whilst loading the atmosphere can get dusty but the driver will be fitted and supplied with a half mask respirator.
- Some nights out.
What we are offering
- 0700 to 1645 Monday to Friday. Plenty of overtime available.
- £32,000 basic salary.
- £3,000 winter retention bonus.
- £4,500 performance bonus.
- Night out allowance
- Full training will be provided.
Requirements
- All valid licences.
- Manual gearbox experience required.
- Some nights out are required so a degree of flexibility will be needed.
- Physically fit and able to work in potentially duty conditions.
- Tanker experience a benefit but not essential.
