Class 2 HIAB Driver

Currently recruiting for Class 2 HIAB driver for a builders merchant based in Tyseley. You will be delivering metal products, so the main attachment on the HIAB you will use is the hook attachment. Previous experience in this is essential.

START DATE : ASAP – TEMP TO PERM AVAILABLE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.

Requirements:

• Wear appropriate PPE – High Vis and Safety boots
• No more than 6 points on licence for minor offences
• Age 21 or over (insurance purposes)
• Monday to Friday operation
• Valid hook  IAB card
• Valid CPC and in date Digi card
• Class 2 Licence held for more than a year
• Previous experience using the hook attachment (HIAB)

Duties:

•  Daily vehicle checks
• Adhering to company policies and procedures
•  Loading and Unloading adhering to all H&S procedures
• Ensuring Tacho duties are recorded correctly
• Ensuring all deliveries completed- max 6 drops in a day

Hours:

0800 start to approx 1600 – 1800, depending on how many deliveries you have for that day.

Pay: 

£17.00 ph PAYE inclusive of holiday pay (Mon- Fri) (min pay 8 hours per day)

This is a temp to perm contract, so you would complete 12 weeks via us the agency, then full time with the employer. Full time rate is £14.00 ph (plus holiday allowance).
