Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Hiab Driver

About the job:

• Delivering building materials and supplies along with other such related items. Experience in using a lorry mounted crane would be highly beneficial.
• Days start at 07:30am, job until finish and you may be required to work on a Saturday, on occasions when necessary.
• The job is Monday to Friday paid at a basic hourly rate of £15.13 per hour, with overtime available at £20.17 per hour (after 8 hours) – please note these pay rates are on our optional ‘advanced payroll’ scheme, which includes your holiday rate accrual at 12.07% per hour.

Driver Requirements:

• You must have an in date Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Licence as well as in date CPC and tacho cards.
• Hiab license is essential.
• The ability to lift and carry as well as move freely in and out of the truck, in all weather conditions is necessary due to the physical nature of this role. 
• Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
• Ensuring that you complete your daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Safe and correct loading and unloading your truck.
• Helping out in the warehouse, when needed.
• Ensuring that health and safety is followed at all times.

Please be aware that the advertised pay for this job role is an advanced payroll method, meaning the rate is inclusive of your holiday pay at 12.07%. We are more than happy to accommodate a standard payroll method if you prefer to accrue and take holiday separately.
