Class 2 Bin Lorry Driver

Driver Hire Edinburgh City are currently looking for class 2 CAT C (HGV 2) drivers for a busy waste & recycling company in Midlothian.

This position is a 12 week temp to perm for the right candidate

Duties include but not limited to;

– 0500/0700 Start times
– Working Monday – Friday
– Morning vehicle checks
– Use of the weigh bridge
– Collection of waste from commercial premises
– Assisted with a drivers mate
– End of day vehicle checks

The ideal candidate will have’ 

– A valid CPC card
– A digital tachograph card
– Hi-vis and safety boots
– No more than 6 points on your licence and be clear from DD, DR and IN endorsements
– Previous experience beneficial but not essential
Rate of pay;

– £11.50p/h (PAYE)
– £15.33p/h overtime
