Your local Driver Hire office has an immediate opening for our client based in Stowmarket looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver with Livebird Ticket.
Contract Type: Permanent, Temp-Perm process
The Role:
Class 1 HGV Driver with Livebird Poultry Ticket required for Permanent contract in the local Stowmarket area.
With an immediate start, this Permanent contract offers competitive rates to the successful Driver.
Reporting to the Farm Dispatch Manager on a daily basis, the successful candidate will work in a small team collecting & delivering Poultry to schedule within the East of England.
Driving Class 1 HGV`s, navigating in and around farmland and the road networks across the East of England requires a conscientious person with good experienced driving ability.
The Requirements:
- Full UK Driving License with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Entitlement to drive Category C+E HGV vehicles
- Previous experience driving Class 1 HGV of at least 12 months
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Drivers Card
- Transport of Livebirds Poultry Ticket required
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow and demonstrate safe loading
- Follow all Health & Safety practices
The Reward:
- Monday – Friday: £35000 – £40000 Salary per annum
- 50 hour week
- 28 days paid holiday pro rata on PAYE
- No nights out
