Class 1 HGV Driver

Driver Hire Bournemouth is looking for experienced and flexible Class 1 HGV drivers for daytime work at their customer site in Bournemouth.

Position: Class 1 HGV Driver

Shifts: Days, Nights & Weekends (flexible depending on your availability)

Start times: 07:00 or 19:00

Start date: ASAP

Location: Bournemouth

Salary:

• £11.25 – £14 per hour (PAYE weekly) (holiday pay accrued)

As a Class 1 Driver you will be:

• Driving a Class 1 vehicle (curtain sider)
• Sometimes manually handling goods using pump trucks
• Given planned routes and loaded vehicles

The successful Class 1 Driver MUST have:

• A valid UK Class 1 driving licence – at least 6-months’ experience as a Class 1
• A valid CPC & Digi-Tacho card
• No more than 6 penalty points on their driving licence (no DR, DD or IN codes)
• Their own transport – to travel to work
