JOB: Class 1 General Haulage Driver
LOCATION: BARNSLEY
TYPE: Regular Temporary
SALARY: £11.00 – £14.04 PER HOUR (Dependent on pay models)
The team here at Driver Hire Barnsley are currently looking for a Class 1 driver to work with one our well established clients who provide transport in various sectors including, general haulage, frozen, chilled, ambient and specialist logistics. The company is based in Barnsley and are looking for a driver to start immediately to cover a long term sick absence of one of their own drivers.
Duties:
- Safe loading and unloading of products, adhering to company’s Health & Safety procedures
- Ensure sufficient security of load to the vehicle before and during transit
- Complying with driving legislation
- Maintain a quality driven service at all times
- Complying with Company Policies and Procedures
Applicants are required to have:
- Full UK Driving Licence with Category CE entitlement
- Digital Tachograph
- Driver CPC Card
