Class 1 Driver Wellesbourne

• 40 hours a week

About the Role

Driver Hire are looking to recruit Class 1 drivers with at least 6 months experience to work for our customer in Wellesbourne. You will be responsible for the movement of palletised goods, up to 2 runs a day with no hand balling.

• 6am starts (Flexible start between 6am and 9am)
• Complete vehicle checks – vehicles are checked twice daily, before and end of shifts.
• Routes will be confirmed daily.
• On arrival to destination – you the driver will be required to pull back the vehicle curtains to be unloaded.
• Overall, up to 4 deliveries a day.
• No handball, only open and close curtains and handling a pen/paper.

Requirements:

• UK Cat CE licence with digital tacho card and full DCPC
• No more than 6 points for minor offences, No DR or DD convictions
• An understanding of driver hours and regulations

Qualifications:

• Digital Tachograph Card
• DCPC
