Our prestigious client in North Lincolnshire steel industry is looking for Class 1 HGV drivers to join their team driving their modern state of the art Class 1 vehicles. This is all designed to offer the best comfort and convenience available for drivers.
As a Class 1 HGV driver, you will need to:
- Perform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting off.
- Ensure that the vehicle and it’s cargo get to their destination safely.
- Liaise with customers at the point of delivery.
- Some nights out may be required, although if this is an issue day work can be offered.
- Be in possession of a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Have a current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Have the Right to live and work in the UK
- Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence for minor traffic offences.
What’s the benefits?
- £12.98 per hour for the first 40-hours per week
- Hour 9 – 12 a day is paid at £17
- Hour 13-15 a day is paid at £22.66
- Sheeting bonus is £7.72
- Night out allowance- £26.45
