Driver Hire are helping a very valued customer recruit for a Cat B/ van driver to work in a crew of two to deliver very high end, expensive sofa’s, armchairs and soft furnishings across London and the South East. The utmost care must be taken while delivering and excellent customer service skills are a must.
The hourly rate on offer is a very good example of the standard of candidate they require.
***** HOURS, PAY AND BENEFITS *****
- £12 per hour
- £100 per month performance bonus
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 45 hour week
- Monday – Friday
- 0700hrs Start
- Full training given
***** RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CAT B VAN DRIVER *****
- Work in a team of 2 to carry sofa’s, armchairs and soft furnishings in to the customers house and assemble basic items such as feet.
- Be polite and friendly to all customers, staff and road users remembering customer service is key when entering people’s homes or businesses.
- Perform daily vehicle inspection checks
***** REQUIREMENTS OF THE CAT B VAN DRIVER *****
- Full UK driving licence
- Verifiable work references
- Max 3 minor penalty points
- Willingness to drive and assist with manual handling
- Unmatchable customer service skills
