Cat B Home delivery van driver on nights, Newbury, Berkshire – full time – permanent, immediate start
We are seeking a home delivery van category B driver on nights, with a category B licence for our client in Newbury, Berkshire, this is a permanent role, with an immediate start
- The Home Delivery Driver role is a night-based role with shift times typically commencing between 2200 hours and 2300 hours Sunday night to Friday night
- All drivers will begin their T2P period immediately
- Flat rate 48 hours per week
- Pay rate £11.50 per hour PAYE Adv, paid weekly via bacs – Full time permanent salary £26,628 pa (when permanent with our client)
The role for the home delivery van driver on nights is delivering milk and dairy products to homes in the local area. Door stop deliveries will take around 6 to 8 hours per shift. Immediate start. You will be required to undertake a H&S assessment before your induction and training
Requirements
- Full category B UK driving licence
- At least 6 months relevant driving experience
- Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences
- Excellent geographical knowledge of the local area
- Punctual, presentable, good communication and customer service skills
- Due to the nature of the role, previous experience with multi drop delivery would be beneficial.
Pay and Hours
Sunday night to Friday night, 2200/2300 hours – 0600 hours, however some flexibility will be required due to the nature of the role
