Accounts Administrator/Supervisor
Location: Grangemouth
Pay Rate: £16.00/hr (accrued holidays) £17.93/hr (advanced holidays) – £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm (½ hour lunch break)
Contract: 10-week Temp to Perm – leading to a direct position with our client

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our client’s friendly, family-run business. You’ll be part of a small but very busy team, working in a varied and hands-on role that covers all aspects of day-to-day accounts and office administration.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Processing sales ledger invoices, payments, and reconciliations.

  • Managing the purchase ledger, including invoice processing and supplier payments.

  • Handling credit control and chasing outstanding balances.

  • Processing staff and business expenses.

  • Preparing and sending quotes and rate confirmations to customers.

  • Assisting with year-end accounts, reconciliations, and maintaining financial records.

  • Updating and maintaining the fixed asset register.

  • Providing general administrative support across the business as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts, or finance administration is essential.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

  • Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

  • Good communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy working environment.

Desirable:

  • A relevant qualification such as an HND, AAT, or similar.

  • Experience working in a small or family-run business.
