The team here at Driver Hire Barnsley are currently looking for a C1 driver to work on behalf of our prestigious client who are a well-established furniture retailer/distributor based in Barnsley. Work will consist of the delivery of non-palletised furniture, on the back of a 7.5 Tonne vehicle.
Duties:
- Safe loading and unloading of products, adhering to company’s Health & Safety procedures
- Ensure sufficient security of load to the vehicle before and during transit
- Complying with driving legislation
- Maintain a quality driven service at all times
- Complying with Company Policies and Procedures
Applicants are required to have:
- Full UK Driving Licence with Category C1 entitlement
- New passes considered
- Digital Tachograph
- Driver CPC Card
- Excellent customer service skills
Assignment Details:
- £9.00 per hour, PAYE (other pay models are available)
- Primarily working Monday – Friday days week 1/ Tues-Sat days week 2 rotational over a two week period.
- Delivering across Yorkshire and the neighbouring counties
