Driver Hire Reading are currently seeking 2 x Warehouse Operatives in the Reading area to work for a major trade supplier of plumbing goods on a Temp to Perm basis.
As a warehouse operative, you will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient service to the customer, ensuring stock is received, stored and organised safely and within set time scales.
Duties will include:
- Loading and Offloading vehicles
- Repalletizing stock
- Dealing with customer requests at the depot
- Lifting items up to 25kg (Must be physically fit)
Successful applicants will be offered a salary of £21,680 and will be working a 42.5hour week, every Monday to Friday, starting at 7.30am.
To be considered for the warehouse role available with Driver Hire Reading, candidates must have:
- Personal Protective Equipment (Hi-viz jacket and safety boots)
- Attainable references in any working capacity
The pay rates on offer whilst on Temp to Perm for 13 weeks are as follows:
- £11.25 per hour
These rates are paid on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay.
There is a minimum of 8 hours pay per shift.
