We are currently looking for a Payroll and Invoicing Coordinator, based in our Bradford office, supporting a network of offices across the UK.

This position plays a key role in maintaining Driver Hire’s reputation for delivering reliable and quality drivers and transport/logistics staff, whilst also ensuring the office stays compliant with our internal and industry standards.

 

What does the role involve?

Once fully trained, on a weekly basis you will be responsible for the payroll of candidates working in the network, and the invoicing of our customers. You will work alongside people who are just as passionate about delivering a great service as you are, and your tasks will involve managing the whole back office cycle, including:

  • Collation of Candidate timesheets
  • Matching timesheets against the operating system
  • Processing payroll, using our bespoke operating system
  • Running weekly reports for onwards submission to our payroll provider
  • Running weekly reports for line managers on payroll and invoicing
  • Regular communication with Customers to confirm receipt of invoices
  • Performing Credit Control calls to Customers to ensure timely receipt of payments
  • Dealing with invoicing and payroll queries from Customers and Candidates

As a new Driver Hire Payroll and Invoicing Coordinator you will be supported through an induction and training period which will focus on allowing you to learn the skills and knowledge that will become an essential part of your role within the team.

What do you need to be successful?

A key part of your success in this role will be :

  • A good knowledge of MS Excel
  • PC literate
  • A good knowledge of back-office recruitment is desirable
  • A working knowledge of recruitment processes is also desirable
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Full, UK driving licence
